Post graduation proceedings for UMF students

Here are the main procedures you will need to follow after graduating from Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

1.UNIVERSITY DOCUMENTS

This option includes the collection of documents issued by Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy on behalf of the student such as: bachelor’s and master’s degrees, diploma supplement, analytical program or documents held at UMF such as baccalaureate diploma, etc. These documents issued by Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy will receive the Hague Apostille, will be translated into any language requested by the student and legalized by a notary public.

2.EU CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION

Preparing the necessary documents in order to issue the certificate of conformity in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications. After the Ministry of Health issues the certificate of conformity, it will be translated, legalized by a notary public and will be apostilled with the Hague Apostille.

3.PROVISIONAL EU CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION

In urgent cases, the certificate of conformity in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications can be issued through a special procedure on the basis of the “adeverință de absolvire”.
After the final documents are issued by Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy it is mandatory to follow the procedure for issuing the certificate of conformity with the bachelor’s degree.

4. CRIMINAL RECORD

Obtaining the criminal record from the Romanian Police. The document will be translated, legalized by a notary public and will be apostilled with the Hague Apostille.

5. NON-MEMBER CERTIFICATE FROM MEDICAL COLLEGE

Obtaining the non-member certificate from the Romanian Medical College. The document will be translated, legalized by a notary public and will be apostilled with the Hague Apostille.

6. VISA FROM THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

Obtaining the necessary visa from the Ministry of Education for the purpose of utilizing the documents abroad. This procedure is mandatory for any student who will practice outside the territory of Romania.
